  1. Trace the cone pattern onto blue foam and cut out.  Form into a cone and glue.  Use clothespins to hold the cone while it dries.
  2. Cut the 1.5" foam ball in half and paint one or two sides silver.  Let dry.
  3. Trace the black circle pattern onto black foam and cut out.
  4. Cover the foam cone in silver tape.
  5. Paint the bottom of the cone silver.
  6. Push a magnet into the flat side of the ball and cone.  Use thick glue to hold magnets in place.
  7. Poke a hole on the round side of the ball.
  8. Twist the metallic chenille stems so they twirl.  Glue inside the ball.
  9. Trim a 1/4" from the top of the handle end of the craft spoons with wire cutters.  Paint the three spoons blue.
  10. Find 3 equal spaced spots on the bottom of the cone and mark.  Cut 1" slits at these marks for the spoons to slide into.  Use thick glue to secure them in place.
  11. Finish by adding USA theme stickers to your space shuttle.
