Use wooden letter tiles and stickers to create initial letter necklaces or bracelets for you and your friends.

Alex® Toys Tile Necklace Kit contains:

• Small wooden tiles with pre-drilled holes
• Alphabet stickers
• Leaves, flowers, birds for sticker collage
• Epoxy stickers to fit the front of the tiles
• Assorted 4mm round beads
• Stringing materials: satin cord, ball chain, stretchy cord
• Findings: metal pinch bails, jump rings

1. Place your initial letter sticker (or your friend's) onto a wooden tile.
2. Create a sticker collage by layering flowers and leaves on the back of the tile.
3. Cover it with an epoxy sticker.
4. Use your fingers to attach a pinch bail by placing the prongs inside the holes on the tile and squeezing the sides together.
5. Slide the top of the pinch bail onto a piece of satin cord, ball chain or beaded string.

To tie an overhand knot in satin cord: Hold the ends of the cords together as one and loop them around your fingers. Place the ends through the loop and pull them tight.

To tie a square knot in stretchy cord: Place the right cord over and under the left cord to tie a half-knot, just like you use to tie your shoe. Place the left cord over the right cord and through the loop to form the square knot. Pull it tight.

To use a jump ring: Twist one side of the ring to open and close it. Don't pull the ends directly away from each other or the ring will not return to a circle shape.
