Time needed for project:
40 minutes plus at least an hour dry time

Materials Needed:
- Canson® Mixed Media Sketchbook, one page
- Sakura® Koi® Watercolors, red, yellow, blue
- Sakura® Permapaque® Markers
- Elmer’s® Masking Tape
- Elmer’s® Glitter Glue
- Paint brushes
- Plastic wrap, 2 sheets as big as the page
- Eye dropper or small cup of water (with spout)
- Colored pencils
- Pallet or plastic plate


1. Place small amounts of your paint on your pallet or plate.
2 minutes

2. Wet your brush and dab into your paint and then onto the page.  You can also get a lot of water on the brush and brush large amounts of colors onto the page.  Try to cover as much of the page as you can.
10 minutes

3. Place your plastic wrap over the wet page.  Push areas together to form lots of wrinkles and combinations of color.  Once you have wrinkled the plastic wrap around the page let it sit until dry.  This might take a few hours.
5 minutes + 2-3 hrs

4. Remove the plastic wrap and use colored pencils, markers or glitter glue to color in your favorite areas in the painting.  Add masking tape around the edges if desired.
