Varies for each, 45 minutes - 2 hours

Materials:
- Canson Mixed Media Sketchbook
- Photo of yourself or mirror
- Black Permopaque marker
- Pencil

Directions:
1. Draw a simple self portrait of your own face with pencil. Draw your eyes, nose, mouth, and hair. If you need to look at the photograph or use a mirror go for it!

2. With your pencil, draw parallel lines on your face that follow the contours, or curves of each part of your face. A good way to get an idea of contours is lay your hand palm down on a table and your your finger to trace across it. This shows you how its bumps up and down with each finger.

3. When you are happy with your drawing, try over it in black marker to give it some thickness and make it pop!
