Materials Needed:
Faber Castell: Connector watercolors and pens, gel sticks, eco pencils, gel and beeswax crayons
Canson®: Artist Board, XL Multimedia paper
Other: glue or glue dots, tape, duck tape, dice, wooden disk or button or any other base for characters
Directions:
Choose a theme and a cast of characters. Will your game be one of intrigue where you have to solve a mystery, or a race from start to finish as you encounter obstacles or monsters along the way? Do you have to travel over the seas to collect as much treasure before time runs out? What hazards or perils await the contestants? What treats and surprises?
Once you settle on a theme cut an artist board in half and use duct tape on the back to connect the halves together again. This is so you can fold the board for storage. Create the scene of your board using various drawing materials.
Decide what other pieces or cards are needed to play the game. For example for game pieces you could take a small photo of yourself, cut it out and mount it on a scrap of artist board and mount this on a wooden disk or button and voila! – you become a player! Extra cards can be made on drawing or Bristol paper.
Use your imagination to create your own world that you can share with other players. A roll of the dice and you’re on your way to fun and adventure!
