At home: “Fine Art” takes the form of painting, drawing, sculpture among a few of the categories. Artists have been creating art for exhibition which is often placed in galleries for purchase by interested buyers. These object d’ art are often displayed in someone’s home, and, perhaps later, find their way into museums (e.g. Gertrude Stein)

Directions:
Choose a theme and create several works of art of your own. With parents help, choose a place to mount your exhibition and maybe have your own! Invite your friends and family (see Let’s Party for making invitations or show announcements), serve snacks and beverages. Perhaps have friends or family members contribute examples of their art work and have a group exhibition!
