Color in your lily pads green and add pink to your flowers as a base.
Use two or three shades of blue to fill in the water around the lily pads and flowers.
With your finger, smudge the base colors of the lily pads and water so the whole page is filled in and smooth.
Using your Cray-pas, draw in details of yellows and greens over top of the lily pads. Add in red, pink, and purple detail to the flowers.
Add some squiggly blue and white lines over top of the water to show movement and reflection. Stop when you are happy with the amount of detail your have added.
Draw one or two silhouettes of dragonflies onto a scrap of paper. Color with purple oil pastels and the wings with a silver oil pastel.
Adhere the dragonflies to the drawing with a glue spot.
