SPOON FLOWER DYED T-SHIRT

Materials Needed:
Rit® Color Perfect™ Dye kit – Candy Apply Red, Enamel Blue or desired colors
Rit® Color Stay™ Dye Fixative
White t-shirt – all cotton
Plastic tablecloth
Plastic gloves
Plastic spoons
Paper towels
Plastic bin
Directions:
Wash t-shirt. Cover work surface with plastic table cloth. Place damp shirt, front side down on work surface and smooth flat.
Following package instructions spray Color Stay Dye Fixative over entire surface then carefully flip shirt over.
Referring to photo for placement, place spoons in a circle at side having first round pointing in and second round pointing out. Spray an even mist of dye over shirt. Remove spoons and place in plastic bin.
Still wearing gloves, remove lid from Enamel Dye bottle and replace with dauber tip. Press dauber onto shirt creating a dot, add random dots to center and between spoons as shown.
Spray entire front of shirt with fixative.
If you want, insert wax paper and mist the back.
Wash and dry shirt following package instructions.
