Clay Teddy Bear
By Linda Peterson
1001-4

When you see the “helping hand” symbol on a project, it means you may need adult supervision to do the project. Always use care when using tools or a heat source. Be careful and safe!

Main Supplies:
Fimo® Soft polymer clay: Caramel and Black

Basic Supplies:
Toothpick

Instructions:

Bear Body: Roll a 1 ½” ball into a tapered log. Press the thick end of the log against a flat surface to form a belly.

Feet: Roll two ½ balls into tapered logs. Press the thick end of the log against a flat surface to form the legs and feet. Apply marks in foot with toothpick. Press legs to body.

Arms: Roll two ½ balls into tapered logs. Press to sides of body for arms.

Head: Shape a ¾” ball into a rounded triangle. Press a small ball flat and add to front of face for muzzle. Poke in eyes with toothpick. Add two small balls to each side of head for ears. Add a black ball for nose.

Bake bear for 265 degrees for 45 minutes.
