By Prudy Vannier

The
supplies required for transferring a pattern are:
- Royal® light graphite
paper for dark surfaces
- Royal® dark graphite
for light surfaces
- Tracing paper
- Pencil
- Tape
- Stylus
- Trace the pattern onto tracing
paper.
- Place the tracing on the
surface. Tape into place if necessary.
- Slide the appropriate color
graphite paper under the tracing paper, shiny side down.
- Use the stylus to lightly
(so that the surface isn’t marred) trace over the lines.
Only trace the basic lines – no detail. Most patterns need
to be base coated somewhat, and then the detail added over the
dried basecoat.
