Instructions:
- Paint the box with
Buttermilk paint. Cut 4 red petals, 4 purple petals, 1 gold
center and 3 leaves from patterns provided. Using a mixture
of 2 parts glue and 1 part water, glue the petals and leaves
to the front of the box.
- Using the box, trace
the bottom square onto blue cardstock and the handle onto
gold cardstock. Cut out the square and the handle. Randomly
cut into triangles. With the glue and water mixture, glue
the blue pieces in between the flower parts and the gold
to the handle. Coat the entire front of the box with the
mixture. Allow to dry.
- Using the plastic
knife, cut a piece of floral foam to fit inside the box.
Glue to the bottom of the box. Cover the foam with a small
amount of moss.
- Cut the flower shapes
– 3 large flowers, 5 medium flowers and 4 small flowers
using the patterns provided. Glue together to form 3 flowers
with three layers – large, medium and small. Glue
2 flowers with two layers – medium and small. Brush
Shimmer ‘N Shine on the outside petals of each flower.
Create the center of each flower by placing a small amount
of Galactic Glue or Liquid Beadz in the center and pressing
in seed beads and then a pony bead. Allow to dry thoroughly.
- Cut large and small
leaves using the patterns provided for each size flower.
Attach the leaves to wires with floral tape. Use rubber
cement to glue the backs of the flowers to the wires. Allow
to dry. Insert the completed flowers into the moss covered
foam in the wooden gift box.
