Textbook Cover
Designed by Heather Lancaster

1112-3

Always cover your work surface with a mat or some type of protective covering like wax paper or plastic.

Main supplies:

  • Elmer's® 3D™ Paint Pens
  • White Lunch Bags or White Scrap Paper
  • Textbook

Basic Supplies:

  • Elmer's® Washable School Glue Stick
  • Newspaper clippings
  • Pencil
  • Scissors

Instructions:

1. Wrap your text book in the white paper bags or the scrap paper, being careful to glue it to itself but not to your text book! Trim and fold as needed to get a nice neat white cover. The folds of a paper bag help you to wrap easily around each corner of the text book.

2. Cut out letters and pictures and use the glue stick to attach the clippings and make a collage on the white paper. Try cutting out letters to spell the name of the text book subject or your name, or look for pictures that are related to the subject!

3. Use 3D Paint Pens to add dimension and shine to the special areas of your collage.
