Pony Bead Ghost | Pony Bead Spider | Pony Bead Jack-O-Lantern
Pony Bead Ghost

Have fun making this fun Halloween ghost!

Instructions and supplies are listed below:
  • 67 white pony beads or 67 magic beads
  • 2 blue pony beads
  • 4 yds. cord or ribbon
  • 1 key ring or lanyard hook (optional)
  1. Find the half way point of your ribbon or cord and double knot it onto the key ring or join two cords together and attached to the ring at the knot.

  2. Begin weaving the beads onto the cord following the pattern. For each row, you will thread the number of beads specified by the pattern onto one end of the cord. Then thread the other end of the cord through the same beads starting at the other side. When you finish each row, you will have one string coming out of one end and the other coming from the opposite side. The arms are formed by stringing 6 white beads onto each of the two strings and looping back through the last bead before continuing the center rows.

  3. After finishing the pattern, tie a double knot in the ends of the cord and apply tacky glue to secure the knot.

  • 3 yds. Ribbon or cord
  • 1 key ring or lanyard hook (optional)

  1. Find the half way point of your ribbon or cord and double knot it onto the key ring. Or join two cords together and attach to the key ring at the knot.

  2. Begin weaving the beads onto the cord following the pattern. For each row you will thread the number of beads specified by the pattern onto one end of the cord. When you finish each row, you will have one string coming out of one end and the other coming from the opposite side. When you come to a row with legs, thread these beads separately on just one of the strings, going through the six beads and then back through five beads to secure.

  3. After finishing the pattern, tie a double knot in the ends of the cord and apply tacky glue to secure the knot.

  4. Optional: Cut the chenille stem into 8 - 2" pieces and thread a piece through each of the spiders legs to make them bend.
